Elevate: A triple peak challenge & birthday celebration

February is here, and it’s time to shake off the winter cobwebs and kick our training into high gear! Join us for an 8-mile adventure through the dramatic, rolling ridges of Las Trampas—plus a celebratory lunch to honor one of our beloved core members, Kristi Kilpatrick. Her birthday is the week before, but since she’ll be out of town, we’re celebrating her in style on this day!

Whether you want to hit the trail, raise a glass—or both—we’d love for you to join us. We’re planning early so we can celebrate Kristi together—but if Mother Nature has other plans that week, we may need to shift the date. Please check back one week before for any weather-related updates.

🌟 What to Expect:

• Distance: 8 miles

• Elevation Gain: 1,900 ft

• Terrain: Steep climbs, rolling ridges, and shady oak-lined trails

• Difficulty: Not for beginners! This is a strenuous hike. If you're just getting back into hiking, reach out in the Facebook Group so we can help you find a friend or 2 that can stay with you at a more moderate pace.

🚻 No Restrooms at the trailhead—plan accordingly.

💧 Bring Plenty of Water—even in cooler weather, this climb will have you sweating!

After the hike, we’ll head into downtown Danville for a 1:00 PM reservation at Revel, a chic spot perfect for toasting to friendship, adventure, and Kristi’s birthday!
