Get ready for a hike that’s equal parts misty magic and glute work. 🌿🌳 🍑
We’re heading into one of the most unique ecosystems in the East Bay—where every turn feels like a new world. Our route will take us through the ancient volcanic terrain of Sibley Volcanic Preserve and into the lush, shaded trails of Huckleberry Botanical Preserve. This loop is only 4.5 miles, but with 1,000 ft of elevation gain and a few punchy climbs, your legs (and lungs) will know they’ve been on a mission.💪
The vibe? Think cool, quiet, and wildly diverse. In the mornings, the air hangs heavy with fog, and the leaves drip with condensation—like walking through a forest that just woke up. It’s peaceful, grounding, and totally unforgettable.✨
Route: Skyline Trail → Lower Huckleberry Loop → Upper Pinehurst → Upper Huckleberry Loop → Lower Huckleberry Loop → Skyline Trail
