About the event
If you’re new to hiking (or just new to us), this is your invitation to jump in.And if you’re part of the crew—you already know a morning in Shell Ridge is always a good idea.
We’ll hike the 3.1-mile Fossil Hill Loop, starting from Howe Homestead Park and winding into the oak-studded hills of Shell Ridge. The climb is gentle (just 511 feet total), and the vibe is classic NorCal—rolling trails, peaceful trees, and plenty of space to chat as we go.
It’s a loop, so we’ll stay in motion the whole time, moving at a relaxed, social pace and finishing in just under 90 minutes. Expect good conversation, a little heart rate love, and that “I needed this” feeling by the end.
